Responsibilities:
1. Identify and maximize sales of heavy plant machinery.
2. Develop relationships with new clients in your territory while maintaining strong relationships with existing client accounts.
3. Achieve planned sales targets and goals.
4. Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
5. Prepare and deliver sales presentations.
6. Find and develop new markets to improve sales.
What the new Plant Sales Manager will need to succeed:
1. Product knowledge within the plant or construction industry and previous area sales experience in a similar role.
2. Excellent communication skills, face to face and over the phone.
3. Target driven, self-motivated, and able to present a professional image.
4. Ability to influence and persuade to close a deal.
5. Full UK driving licence.
