Here at Peabody, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Manager – Outreach Support Services to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide leadership and direction to a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred services that promote the independence and wellbeing of our clients.
A bit about the role:
As a Team Manager, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing a team dedicated to supporting individuals facing challenges such as homelessness, disabilities, or social exclusion. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, managing risk, and collaborating with local agencies to ensure our services remain effective, flexible, and tailored to client needs.
You’ll be based out of our office in Pitsea, with travel across Essex to meet the needs of the service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of outreach support workers, ensuring they meet or exceed performance expectations.
* Provide guidance on complex or high-risk cases, modelling best practices for the team.
* Oversee the delivery of needs and risk assessments, personalised support plans, and regular reviews.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local agencies and stakeholders to enhance client support services.
* Promote safeguarding practices, responding promptly to welfare concerns and risks.
* Monitor and report on key performance metrics, ensuring compliance with policies and funding requirements.
This role requires participation in an on-call rota outside of standard hours.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel as required.
