Job Description:
As the General Manager of our Yum Cha restaurant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of dedicated staff, manage daily operations, and contribute to the restaurant's strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure staff compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ordering, and supplies.
- Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and maintains high food quality.
- Customer Service:
- Maintain a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for all guests.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure prompt and accurate service delivery.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, financial goals, and performance metrics.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement cost-control measures and optimize resource utilization.
- Marketing & Promotion:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies.
- Drive customer engagement through events, social media, and loyalty programs.
- Build relationships with local communities and businesses.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the restaurant industry.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
