Job Title: Returns Operative
We are currently recruiting a Returns Operative to join our existing Warehouse and Logistics team in Tiverton. This is a really interesting role which involves customer service, stock control and a number of other functions which will engage you and keep you interested.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
Based in our workshop which is attached to the warehouse, this vacancy involves dealing with product returns from our customers, recording the part numbers and stock details into our system, checking and testing the products as required and logging / communicating your findings to both internal stakeholders and customers.
You will then be responsible for either sending the products on for further investigation or returning to the warehouse to be re-deployed as required. The role will also involve ensuring stock levels are maintained and correct, and taking responsibility for reporting anomalies in these figures so we can maintain accurate levels of stock in our Warehouse.
In short, we need someone who is customer orientated, curious, interested in learning new skills, IT literate and with great attention to detail.
As the role is 30% administration, and 70% workshop / warehouse we need someone who is physically fit and who is happy to be active a lot of the day.
Experience that matters: Your Skills
• Ideally, we are looking for a customer orientated person who has minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within a warehouse, parts logistics, stock control or similar environment, but training can be given.
• Educated to GCSE level, Good written and verbal communication and comfortable with utilising IT Systems
• Individuals with experience of MRP / ERP / Stock control systems or similar are especially of interest.
