About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our team in an advanced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with high-precision equipment, ensuring our components meet the exacting standards of the aerospace industry. You will be an essential part of a dedicated team, working with cutting-edge technology and maintaining strict quality and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate CNC Machines: Work with a range of CNC machinery, including mills and lathes, to manufacture parts following engineering drawings and exact specifications.
* Set Up and Tooling: Configure machines, select appropriate tools, and manage offsets and tool changes as needed.
* Quality Assurance: Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and ensure all work meets stringent quality standards.
* Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance on machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
* Technical Interpretation: Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering instructions.
* Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace in compliance with company safety guidelines.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to meet output targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
Skills & Qualifications
* Experience: Previous experience as a CNC Operator is required; experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
* Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, CNC controls, and machine tooling.
* Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in every aspect of your work.
* Quality Focus: Basic understanding of quality assurance practices and familiarity with relevant inspection tools.
* Problem-Solving: Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
* Team Player: Ability to work well independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
