MOBILE ESTATE OFFICER needed in Sutton, £13.34ph PAYE - Reference: OR1351 ● To operate a service visiting and inspecting locations as prescribed, ensuring areas of housing land are free of debris and graffiti as appropriate. To ensure all site visits on the scheduled route are completed within prescribed schedule visit times and thereafter provide a ‘responsive service’ as required or directed ● To carry out all duties in compliance with Health and Safety legislation, other relevant legislative or statutory guidance and SHP’s Codes of Practice. ● To carry out all duties in compliance with Health and Safety legislation, other relevant legislative or statutory guidance and SHP’s Codes of Practice. ● To complete a record of bulk waste, tree surgery, graffiti removal and other activity carried out each day, citing location; (load weights provided at waste disposal depot on discharge); day of removal. This record to be completed daily, on a weekly worksheet log. ● To monitor and report instances of fly tipping, bulk refuse, graffiti, abandoned vehicles, unauthorised parking, communal repairs etc during the day-to-day performance of normal duties. To record such items on the weekly worksheet/timesheet log provided. To report emergencies and potential hazards to SHP immediately and seal off area as appropriate ● Order and maintain supplies of materials and equipment, to ensure adequate stock is held in a secure store and operationally at all times. ● To maintain and inspect motor vehicles and other equipment in use daily reporting and logging faults immediately. ● To carry out weed killing, shrub pruning and other grounds maintenance work on estates. ● Operate a range of machinery, including power tools and small plant including strimmers hedge cutters, blowers, ride on mowers, and woodchippers as well as various hand tools ● To be responsible for road side management when undertaking site work, including erecting signs, directing and blocking human and other traffic flows within the work vicinity the interests of public and employee safety ● To carry out weed killing, shrub pruning, grass cutting and other grounds maintenance work on estates. ● To assist in the safe moving of equipment or supplies to, from or between caretaker sites under the direction of the External Services Manager ● The post holder will carry out their duties in accordance with SHP’s Equal Opportunities Policy, Health and Safety Policy and all other relevant Group Policies and procedures This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis If you are interested in the role please apply on our website with your CV, alternatively you can email your CV to katieessentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number.
