YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED?
* Inspection of highway infrastructure (detailed, safety, and general inspections of carriageways, drainage, and street furniture) including TRMM/R&WSC detailed walkthrough inspections
* Collection of inspection data and inventory updates and recording on GEOMM
* Preparation of reports, including CAT 1, logging defects in a computer-based record system.
* Assessment and ordering of remedial works using a computerized ordering system (Raising works orders)
* Assessment, programming, and supervision of routine and cyclic maintenance works.
* Quality management, application, and monitoring of the quality system.
* NRSWA Duties (including obtaining STATS and coordinating utilities work)
* Health & safety application (including CDM 2015), control, and monitoring of safety management systems.
* Liaison with emergency services, National Highways, local highway authorities, and, as instructed by the Client, members of the public on operational matters to include duty call out and winter management duties (October – March).
* Nighttime inspections of infrastructure and contractors work.
* Network Occupancy Management Plans, Network Event Manager (NEMS) & Road Space Booking, managing, supervision, and assisting of National Highways procedures.
* Supervision, monitoring, and management of contractors Green Claims – Record, process, provide details & final costs to Project Assistant.
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
* Previous experience in highway maintenance operations
* Willingness to work unsociable hours including weekends and public holidays
* An ability to read drawings to locate defects on a road network
