If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you About the Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the commercial management of cutting-edge Building & Energy Management Systems (BEMS) projects. Working onsite across Central London, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring efficiency, value, and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Managing document control and quantity take-offs for budgeting, tendering, and cost planning. Supporting the estimating team and contributing to pre-contract activities. Procuring and managing subcontractors, including accounts, variations, and valuations. Conducting cost investigations and preparing financial reports. Identifying added value opportunities within measurement and contract conditions. Preparation and submission of contractual correspondence / notices in accordance with the prescribed conditions of contract to the client. Monitoring and reporting on project cash flow and financial performance. Provide commercial director with monthly cost/valuation (CRF) information for costing purposes within the specified time scales. Carryout monthly CRF. Based on outputs achieved against budget and cost Other duties as may be required from time to time depending on the needs of the business. Skills Required: A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience. Strong working knowledge of JCT, NEC, and bespoke contract arrangements. Experience in cost management, tendering, and contract negotiations. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
