We are looking to bolster our commercial team within our UK North business unit with the appointment of a Commercial Manager. The Commercial Lead will take full commercial responsibility and ownership for the project, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure a successful project is delivered, while maintaining relationships and maximising commercial returns and managing risk. Lead management of change for York Central (£130m scheme). This will require managing change from inception to agreement with the Employer. All key change will be managed directly by this role. Management of QS team for completing day to day / small change. Responsible for value reporting within the monthly reviews. Will need to liaise closely with the commercial lead for the scheme and the wider team. Cost and value management for project, ensuring appropriate systems and procedures are in place Financial reporting for project Change management for project: record change and allocate responsibility. Evaluate/recover any change that is not Sisks’s risk/liability (including recovery from 3rd parties.
