Learning Support Assistant Location: Rawtenstall Pay: £12.90 - £13.50 Provision: SEN College supporting pupils aged 16 Contract: Temporary. Tuesday – Friday 8:45am – 3:30pm We are recruiting on behalf of a college seeking a Learning Support Assistant. The college supports learners with a variety of profound and multiple learning difficulties, including working with learners who are non-verbal and have complex health and social care needs. Experience within an SEN setting would be beneficial What you'll be doing as a Learning Support Assistant: Supporting and supervising in classroom environments, assisting in accessing the community, and participating in activities to help develop life skills. Providing personal care where necessary. Working with learners in small groups and or working 1:1. Work in accordance with the colleges behaviour management policies.
