About The Role: Shift Pattern: Rolling rota, three on three offRamp Vehicle Marshaller is responsible to provide assistance to all passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility as they journey through Dublin Airport. The Day marshaller position is based on the CPSRA (Critical Part of the Security Restricted Area) and is responsible to provide support to the Hi-Lift vehicle driver. The marshaller is also fully responsible to ensure the safety of all passengers and staff on board. When working with the Driver the marshaller is responsible to provide clear and accurate hand signals so that the Hi-Lift vehicle approaches aircraft in a safe and controlled manner. Key Responsibilities: Assist in operation of all OCS Hi-Lift vehicles in compliance with company safety standards Provide accurate hand signals/instructions to the driver so that the Hi-Lift vehicle approaches the aircraft in a safe and controlled manner Apply all safety controls pertaining to staff and passenger safety when on board vehicles Operate tail-lift for transporting PRM passengers to their stands. Greet passengers in a pleasant and professional manner Assess the passenger's mobility requirements Assist PRMs to embark and disembark company vehicles and aircraft Assist with the lifting, transferring and repositioning of PRMs in company vehicles and aircraft Use equipment to assist PRMs relevant to their individual mobility needs e.g. S-max, Wheelchair, aisle chair, pro move sling etc Assist PRM's who do not require the use of mobility equipment e.g. blind, intellectual disabilities etc. Work in conjunction with ground crew to ensure safe transfer of passenger wheelchairs from OCS vehicles to aircraft. Ensure all relevant information regarding the PRM is passed on to the Control Department.
