Led by racing legend Michael Andretti, the team fields multiple entries in INDYCAR, INDY NXT, IMSA and Formula E. The global racing enterprise boasts over 250 race wins, four INDYCAR Series championships, five INDY NXT titles, one Indy Pro 2000 and one USF2000 championship, and has captured victory five times at the famed Indianapolis 500-Mile Race. The team is now looking to expand into the pinnacle of motorsport through our Andretti Cadillac Team.
Job description:
We have an opportunity for a Facilities Technician to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. You will work closely with the Head of Facilities and other team members to identify and address facility-related issues and support ongoing projects. Principal Accountabilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mechanical, minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
* Monitor and inspect building systems to ensure they are in good working order.
* Respond to facility-related issues and emergencies in a timely manner.
* Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for maintenance and repairs.
* Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment and materials for projects.
* Maintain and update facility maintenance records and documentation.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for facility improvements.
* Participate in meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Facilities.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role.
* Knowledge of building maintenance procedures and systems.
* Ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks in various trade areas, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Proficient in using tools and equipment related to facility maintenance.
* Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed.
* Valid driver's license.
