As part of our exciting growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and professional Site Manager to join our M&E division, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering a large upgrade project based in Milton Keynes.
Position
Reporting directly into the Head of M&E; alongside the Project Manager, the Site Manager will be responsible for the overall delivery of the project which will cover both civil engineering and electrical works - these will need planning, monitoring and resourcing through management of existing labour and utilising subcontractors where required.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter and motivated to deliver best-in-class works, with proven experience of delivering robust projects within industrial and commercial settings both on-time and in-budget. Alongside this, the Site Manager will ensure that BJF remain compliant with all HSE standards and legislation throughout the duration of project delivery.
The project is scheduled to run for 40 weeks and we require the successful candidate to be on-site for the full duration.
Requirements
To be considered, you will need to demonstrate a mix of the following:
3 years’ experience working in a site management role
Track record of onsite operational delivery of projects of between up to £5M
Broad understanding of civils, mechanical & electrical services and build processes
Strong people management and communication skills
Experience working on commercial, residential and industrial projects
Working knowledge of MS Office work packages
