Brownlee Cale are working with a Civil Engineering firm on a Project Manager role to help support upcoming works in the North of Wales. As Project Manager you will oversee the planning, execution and delivery of projects to ensure that all objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of projects to ensure all objectives are achieved with an emphasis on safety, quality and cost-efficiency.
2. Demonstrate strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage a team with indirect line management to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
3. Full lifecycle delivery of projects, including outline design, detailed design, construction and commissioning.
4. Develop, maintain and monitor comprehensive project plans to efficiently deliver projects within timescales and with minimal risk.
5. Communicate with Client Representatives in an open, efficient and transparent manner. Ensure that expectations are clearly understood, aligned and consistently met or exceeded.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to allow for clear communication within internal teams to ensure objectives are efficiently allocated resources.
7. Deliver projects consistently within budget, scheduling and to the agreed quality standards. Be accountable and adaptable when presented with challenges.
8. Be extremely aware and proactive in matters of Health and Safety, mitigating risks to health and ensuring complete compliance with all procedures, policies and regulations.
9. Foster an inspiring environment for site teams and subcontractors.
10. Report on the progress of projects in every phase.
11. Chair and minute key meetings both internally and externally. This will include: progress reports, safety reviews and design discussions.
12. Work closely with other management to identify market needs and priorities.
Desired Experience:
1. Demonstrated experience within a Project Manager role, including the full-cycle delivery of projects.
2. Relevant industry qualifications such as BcEng, HNCS, NVQ.
3. Valid CSCS, ECS, SKILLcard or equivalent.
4. SMSTS and First Aid at Work Certified.
5. Background within M&E desirable.
6. Proficiency with technology.
7. Comprehensive knowledge of the Civil Engineering industry, including standard practices, regulations, and standards.
8. Familiarity with and understanding of SHEQ and CDM processes.
9. Extremely well-developed communication and management skills, able to build rapport.
10. Self-motivated and enthusiastic regarding company-wide goals and growth.
