Job Purpose / Overview:
As a Travel and Tourism Lecturer, you’ll be responsible for delivering NCFE Level 1-3 courses, motivating students to achieve their best, and supporting their skills development in an engaging learning environment.
This full-time role offers a chance to lead subject areas and contribute to continuous curriculum improvement during a six-month sick cover placement.
Responsibilities:
Deliver a structured teaching timetable set by the Curriculum Manager/Assistant Principal, engaging students across NCFE Levels 1-3.
Act as the subject leader for the Travel and Tourism course, driving student performance and handling essential administrative tasks.
Support curriculum innovation, including new course development and the integration of digital learning resources.
Participate in the evaluation and review of teaching and learning practices within the curriculum area, ensuring high standards and effective delivery. Requirements:
Recognised teaching qualification.
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Travel, Tourism, or a closely related subject.
Demonstrated teaching experience, with a strong commitment to student success and curriculum development.
Availability to start next week, full-time (37 hours per week), with teaching hours from 8:45 am to latest 5 pm. Next steps
