As a Project Manager, you’ll ensure effective project delivery, striving to achieve established goals and objectives on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will be supported by a SQEP resource, allowing a single point of management contact with the customer.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects of varying value and complexity.
2. Ensuring successful financial performance and risk management.
3. Managing/supporting customer/stakeholder groups through reviews and progress meetings.
4. Managing negotiations with customers, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
5. Driving efficiency and best practices, aligning local processes and procedures as applicable.
6. Identifying issues and concerns that may impact the project baseline and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
Location: This role can be based at our Westlakes or Warrington office.

Preferred role requirements:
1. A minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Project Manager on a nuclear site or highly regulated site.
2. Previous experience managing high-value projects.
3. A degree in Project Management or a relevant field.
4. Membership in a recognized professional institution; chartered status or equivalent professional status is preferred.
5. Understanding of the principles and practices of planning, risk, and cost management at program and project levels.
6. Awareness of the stage-gate principles of project delivery.
7. Understanding of the factors affecting motivation of project team members and techniques for risk management.
The successful candidate must, by the start of employment, have permission to work in the UK and be willing to undergo a security vetting process. Offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted.
Travel to other Orano offices and client sites may be necessary. You should be willing to work flexibly to accommodate project and client requirements.
