Job summary This appointment is for a Clinical Fellow in the Emergency Department, Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This post is offered for Full Time and Less than Full Time appointments.The timetable will include working a 24-hour shift pattern to include weekends, night duty and cover provision. Current working patterns provide Consultant presence in the Department 08:00 to 24:00 seven days a week. This post has dedicated time to work on a significant Education project. The split is 80% clinical care and 20% protected time for Education/Projects. Main duties of the job The appointee will work at Tier 3 level, and this would include grades similar to CT1-2, FY3 and the previous SHO levels. It would suit someone who has finished F2, but does not want to commit to a career post. The benefit of this role is that there is pastoral and educational support. We can also support developing your application for specialty training. This is also open to those candidates with adequate EM experience who want to get back into a supervised, supported and substantive role.
