Job Summary:
Taking a lead role as SAP ERP Functional Excellence Manager, you will join our innovative team delivering a new SAP implementation within a greenfield environment of S/4 HANA 2022 Rise Private Cloud Edition on Azure. You will be joining at a key point, as we roll out SAP across 30 countries and create a center of excellence here in the UK. You will be leading complex projects promoting business transformation, leading to digitization of supply chain as we adapt our processes to the potential of SAP.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Lead the team in developing & maintaining a "superuser" level of competency of the existing supply chain business processes in Procurement, Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, Inventory and EWM areas.
* Drive and lead digital transformation initiatives for Distribution business across international boundaries, leveraging SAP S/4HANA to meet business requirements and objectives.
* Implement future-centric and cloud-ready solutions with a focus on clean core and vanilla principles.
* Provide technical leadership and cross-functional guidance to SAP functional and technical teams, ensuring the implementation of best practices and adherence to architectural guidelines.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and SI Partners to define and document technical solution architecture, development standards, and integration strategies.
* Bring hands-on expertise in industry solutions related to Manufacturing and Supply Chain, preferably cross-functional exposure in SD, FI, Service on HANA, Project Systems, relatable to the Automotive industry.
* Expertise in solution demos and succinct presentations to business stakeholders is essential.
* Lead production and business operations support.
* Participate in product roadmap and product strategy definition.
* Practical knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based design & development, ABAP Restful Programming Model (RAP) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) will be considered key differentiators.
* Provide training and support to end-users, develop and administer user support documentation.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Specializing in at least two modules from MM, SD, or PP.
* Good awareness of other modules and how they interact with each other (EWM, MM, SD, PP, etc.)
* Understanding of SAP functionalities in the context of supply chain and finance integration.
* Ability to provide thought leadership and guidance on process solutions.
* Fundamental knowledge of SAP technology and processes.
* Ability to tackle industry-specific problems leveraging past experience.
* Capable of architecting and validating solutions proposed by vendors.
* Experience with material interchangeability concepts, ideally Supersession.
* Strong consulting skills with the ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with business counterparts and vendors.
* SAP S/4 HANA Certification with 1909/2020 or higher, in two major Supply Chain relevant modules is required.
* Flexibility to work global hours as per the project implementation schedule is essential.
Qualifications
This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the UK.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
* College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
* This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
