The Trust Programme Management Office (TPMO) has a vital role in the delivery of NUH’s ambition to be outstanding in health outcomes and patient and staff experience and has a remit covering all programmes across the Trust.
The Trust PMO comprises of a team of programme and project professionals focused on improving the successful delivery of programmes by providing a wide range of Portfolio, Programme and Project, Management services to NUH Clinical and Corporate Divisions. This includes: delivery, providing frameworks and standards, advising sponsors, developing capability / training, providing governance, oversight and Assurance to the Trust Board, and developing the Programme and Project Management community within NUH and across the NHS.
The purpose of this role is to assist Programme Managers in the execution and delivery of Trust PMO Programmes and Divisional Programme Portfolios.
The post holder will be responsible for the development and production of programme reporting at all levels of the organisation and ensure that threats, risks and issues affecting programme success are identified, recorded and actioned.
The role requires significant organisational skills, initiative, time management skills and personal credibility.
The post holder will play an active part in the Programme team and the associated programme activities through, for example, ensuring programmes and projects follow the Trust’s programme management framework, being a useful point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, setting and managing corrective actions and managing the delivery of projects under the supervision of Programme Managers.
The role will require strong persuasive and negotiating skills to ensure effective engagement of all parties and effective assurance of the programmes across all work streams and stakeholders.
The post holder will work directly with the Programme Manager to analyse, identify and disseminate programme insights, utilising programme management systems to develop solutions in a timely manner.
The post holder will be required to work at all NUH campuses, off site venues and flexibly as required for the role.
