Position:
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Practitioner at University Hospital Ayr.
What you will do:
This new post will collaborate with experienced clinicians and health care professionals to have a meaningful impact on care. The post will support discharge, continue treatment plans of patients, initiate treatments within specified parameters, and contribute to training. You will also be involved in the ordering, stock management, and internal administrative processes which contribute to the work of the AHP Front door team. Once you have had the relevant support and training, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of your own caseload. By operating a partly shared team caseload we are able to offer excellent opportunities for practice supervision and shadowing in a wide range of clinical areas.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You should possess a formal qualification at HNC Level or equivalent level of experience in a health/education/social care environment plus short specialist courses relevant to the specific clinical area. Experience and confidence using electronic systems (e.g., Microsoft Word) are essential. Evidence of competencies and skills required to deliver this post is essential, e.g., excellent time management, great interpersonal/communication skills, organisational skills, self-motivation, and ability to work as part of a team.
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
