About the role As a Claims Service Adviser, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of claims on behalf of an individual allocation of commercial corporate clients. Yours will be a key role in ensuring all claims progress without delay and to the optimum conclusion. Responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring prompt intimation of claims to relevant insurer(s), establishing applicable coverage, and assisting client through any required disclosure or data gathering
2. Co-ordinating claims from FNOL to settlement, advocating on behalf of your client and ensuring their interests are protected throughout.
3. Providing expert guidance, technical analysis, and support to clients to facilitate the smooth progression of claims.
4. Establishing and maintaining relationships with key client contacts
5. Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters and other stakeholders including internal servicing contacts
6. Accurate management of electronic claim files, processing all correspondence and diaries within SLA
7. Where required, attend claims review meetings, and produce up to date reports containing current claims experience

8. Experience of Insurance Claims, ideally with an emphasis on the core classes of Motor, Property or Liability.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, displaying flexibility and adaptability yet able to work in a structured manner.
