Job Title: Administrator
Location: Birstall, Leeds
Salary: £22,350 - £24,000 FTE depending on experience
Hours: Part time. 9.30am-2.30pm, minimum 4 days per week.

YDBC Ltd was establish in 2009 as a Building Control Approved Inspector to provide a professional, friendly and straight forward approach to ensure building projects meet the ever changing demands of Building Regulations. YDBC is a member of the C80 Group

The Role
The company currently has a position available for an Administrator based in Birstall.
Candidates must have a confident and professional telephone manner, have administration experience in building control and be fully proficient in all forms of IT.
The Administrator will be the first point of contact to new customers.
Responsibilities
Depending on experience the role will initially include:
Generating and issuing 28, 60 and 90 day letters to clients via the system and record all responses in the relevant file.
Generating and submitting Final Certificates to local authorities/clients.
Chase up quotes via the automated system and record all responses archiving where required.
Processing fee payments - taking payments by card.
General admin duties including filing, answering calls and taking messages.
In due course the role will expand to include the following:
Processing new applications and submitting Initial Notices to local authorities.
Sending water/fire/structural consultations out and processing the responses to these consultations.
Generating and submitting Plans Certificates to local authorities/agents/clients.
Following up on completion inspections/reminding clients of completion information. requirements/time restrictions.
Submitting extension of time letters / notices of cancellation to local authorities.
Generating and submitting Final Certificates to local authorities/clients.
Skills and Experience
Experience working in building control is desirable but not essential
Self-motivated, organized with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Great with people.
