2 x Project Management Degree Apprentice
We are looking for x2 Project Management Degree Apprentices to join our Project Management Team based in Coventry. This role has a start date of September 2024.
As a Project Management Degree Apprentice, you will follow a 4-year scheme delivered over 8 work placements. You will report to a project manager or programme manager within the Programme Management team.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will learn how to deliver day-to-day project management tasks successfully following the project management process and standard working practises within the Project Management Team and Project Management Office. This will include communication, budgeting/cost control, management of stakeholders, schedule, risk and project governance.
Activities will include:
1. Share project information with stakeholders
2. Develop and maintain project deliverables under the direction of Programme and Project Managers to secure and measure progress
3. Collect and input data into project trackers and databases
4. Attend and present at Project Review Meetings
5. Project cost analysis, monitoring cost and assessing earned value
6. Assist in the preparation of Project Management Reports for the Senior Management Team
7. Assist in Work Package Management processes
8. Work towards APM Membership status
9. Work towards completion of BSc (Hons) Project Management degree
Person Specification
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience
10. GCSE/Level 2: Grade C/Level 5 or above in Maths and English.
11. A Levels/Level 3: Grade BBC or BTEC: Grades DMM or L3 Business Administration apprenticeship
12. Ability to deliver both internally at work but also externally through achievement of a degree
13. A logical thinker with attention to detail, and excellent problem solving ability
14. Ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are delivered successfully
15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
16. Organised, disciplined, methodical, hardworking and a team player
17. A keen interest in technology
18. Able to use MS Word, Excel and Office applications
