What will you be doing in this role?
As a Test Lead in the Deployment Team you will be responsible for supporting the Customer acceptance and adoption of TSP. The Deployments are complex and cover both infrastructure and software elements. You will utilise strong analysis and organisational skills alongside knowledge of testing practices and processes to support the Customer testing and to drive the resolution of issues.
Due to the complexities of the Deployment Projects, it is important that you have excellent communication skills and can manage test plans and support Customers with their testing of the TSP Product. It is important that captured information is documented and confirmed back to Customers to ensure that we maintain a shared understanding throughout the Project.
The Ideal candidate:
To be successful in this role, you should be experienced in creating and managing test plans, including business process testing, along with supporting the analysis of test results. This will include supporting the TSP Delivery teams by feeding into Bug Triage and planning sessions with feedback from CAT activities. It is important that the candidate has both functional and non-functional testing experience and good knowledge of end-to-end testing practices and processes.
Any experience of working within a business moving from Legacy to modern systems and working with cloud micro services using Microsoft and / or mobile applications would be desirable, but not essential.
Key skills and experience:
1. Have knowledge and experience working with Azure DevOps for Testing and Bug Management
2. Have strong communication skills and a methodical mindset to ensure that our Test Plans cover the full range of functionality
3. Have good understanding of testing methodologies such as V-model, BDD, and ATDD (Behaviour / Acceptance Test Driven Development)
4. Good knowledge and experience of Testing techniques, tools and approaches
5. Knowledge of Specflow and Selenium to support Acceptance Test Driven Development
6. Experience of Postman, jMeter or similar API testing tools
7. Demonstrable experience of non-functional testing (load, performance, security)
8. Have experience of Cucumber and Gherkin methods
9. Experience with C#, React JS and SQL
10. Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
11. Confidence in liaising with Stakeholders and not being afraid to ask the difficult questions to ensure that all relevant information is obtained and documented
12. Courage to challenge assumptions and historical decisions to ensure that we are doing what is right and not just what is easy
If you are not sure if you have the relevant skills or experience, then please apply (only takes a few minutes) and let our team review and come back to you.
