JOB TITLE: STORES SUPERVISOR ABOUT THE ROLE A BRIEF SUMMARY The Stores Supervisor is a core part of the efficient working of the warehouse, equipment and outside broadcast truck lifecycle. Responsible for supervising a small team of people managing the storage and movement of equipment around a busy warehouse, following procedure to ensure goods are tracked, stored and dispatched efficiently. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR · Alongside the warehouse management team, track the movement of equipment around a busy warehouse · Supervision of stores and the wider warehouse teams · Follow and improve new company procedures around scanning/tracking of equipment · Accurate loading of trucks with technical equipment · Lead Shifts, with shift patterns including weekends, early mornings and evenings – 37.5 hours per week THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF · Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail · Ability to plan daily tasks, prioritising where necessary · Good people skills, able to manage a team · Ability to multitask with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude · Strong communication skills – written and verbal · Process driven · Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage deadlines · Heavy lifting requirement · Full UK Driving Licence ideal, but not essential · Previous experience in Warehouse Operations · Experience with Broadcast equipment ideal, but not essential · Able to show initiative · Basic knowledge of H&S · Confident with basic IT systems You must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship for this role
