Early Years Skills Coach/Tutor
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 FTE (salary will be pro rata based on hours agreed)
Contract: Part-Time Permanent
Location: To cover the West Midlands

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Early Years Skills Coach/Tutor to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in inspiring and supporting apprentices as they work towards their qualifications. From delivering dynamic training sessions to providing one-to-one coaching and assessment, you’ll be instrumental in guiding learners towards success.
What You’ll Do:
1. Deliver engaging and interactive group training sessions, including induction
2. Support apprentices through one-to-one coaching and workplace visits
3. Assess and provide feedback on apprentices’ portfolios
4. Deliver English and maths Functional Skills up to Level 2
5. Monitor progress, set challenging targets, and help learners achieve their goals
6. Maintain high levels of apprentice attendance, retention, and achievement
What We’re Looking For:
1. A background in Early Years with at least two years’ experience in the sector within the last three years
2. Experience delivering training to 16+ learners and adults
3. A passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting apprentices to reach their full potential
4. A Level 3 Teaching Qualification (or willingness to achieve within six months)
5. A TAQA or equivalent assessor qualification (or willingness to achieve within six months)
6. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and engaging approach
As this is a peripatetic role, you’ll need a full driving licence and access to a car, as training will take place across employer locations.
