We are recruiting a Sales Designer for our show site near Huntingdon.
As a confident and outgoing person, you will use your consultative and creative expertise to guide customers through the selection and purchase process. Utilizing the full training that you will be given, you will help clients realize their vision of the ultimate garden room, offering a range of bespoke features and colors that best complement their outdoor space.
We are looking for a person who shares our passion for delivering a customer experience and a quality product that exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage and inspire the customer, promoting our products and advising in the selection of the best garden building for their needs.
2. Produce accurate quotations in line with customer requirements and present terms of agreement to close sales.
3. Promote the business ensuring all sales opportunities are followed up.
4. Conduct visits at the customer's property to measure and qualify the suitability of products.
5. Respond to incoming email and phone inquiries from new and existing customers.
6. Ensure all sales are recorded and order information entered onto the company CRM system.
7. Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and shows.
8. Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions where appropriate.
9. Review your own sales performance, aiming to exceed targets.
Required Skills:
1. Experience of delivering a face-to-face consultative sales approach.
2. Sales & Service driven, with a creative and inspiring personality.
3. Able to discover and overcome objections and close sales.
4. Highly organized with an eye for detail.
5. Experience using a CRM system would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
Salary and Benefits:
1. Salary £29,500 increasing to £30,200 after 3 months.
2. Quarterly bonuses up to £8000 per year for achieving targets.
3. Annual bonus of £2,000 for achieving full year target.
4. Commission paid on every sale.
5. 28 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
6. Death in service benefit (twice annual salary).
7. Sick pay after qualifying period.
8. Onsite parking.
9. Contributory Pension scheme.
Usual working pattern is 40 hours a week on a 2-week rota including alternate weekends.
Being fully mobile and having your own vehicle is essential for this role as you will be required to conduct customer visits.
As this role involves working with the public, a DBS check will be carried out prior to appointment.
