Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast paced and vibrant team. Supporting the Urgent and Emergency Care Directorate the successful post-holder will ensure appropriate medical and clinical cover in emergency department and acute medical unit on a daily basis. This is a vital role in helping our teams and services deliver excellent care for our patients. Main duties of the job Junior Doctor Rota Management The Rota Coordinators' key responsibilities lie within planning and managing the consultant and junior doctor rotas. This role will involve working closely with the clinical teams and operational management team to ensure the rotas are compliant with service delivery. The Rota Coordinator works proactively to source cover for gaps on the rota for clinic and ward cover. Responsibilities include managing rota and capacity gaps, escalating and supporting the actions to address. One post is based at St Richard's, and one post at Worthing.
