The Role
As a Welsh-Speaking Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and students in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Your primary responsibilities will include providing one-on-one and small group support, assisting with classroom activities, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons in Welsh.
Provide individualised assistance to pupils with additional learning needs.
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assist in preparing teaching materials and classroom resources.
Help with classroom organisation and maintaining a safe learning space.
Monitor and record student progress to support learning development.
Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to enhance the educational experience.Requirements
Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written).
Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
Passion for early years education and child development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant childcare or education qualifications (desirable but not essential).Benefits
