The Company: A global research and insights organisation based in St Albans (near the station) which provides leading market-insight, bespoke research and market-trackers for companies within the consumer electronics, media, entertainment and Edtech sectors. Existing clients include Apple, Microsoft, Google, Sky, ITV and many others.
The Role of Senior Account Manager: As Senior Account Manager, you will start by undergoing intense training to understand the benefits and value of the research solutions, market trackers and business intelligence you would be selling and educating your clients on. You will take ownership of the company's largest enterprise customers within the entertainment and technology space, with a cumulative value of these accounts being £3m per year, including clients like Apple, Microsoft, Dell, HP, and Netflix. This role will require selling to multiple time zones and include international travel, with plenty of upsell opportunities across bespoke research solutions and 80 product sets.
Requirements for this Senior Account Manager role:
1. 5+ years Account Management sales experience within research/insights or business information
2. Proven 360-degree account management experience
3. Experience of selling to global entertainment/content or tech businesses is desirable
4. Confident, articulate and polished
5. Well spoken with a strong education
6. Client facing
7. Professional and mature demeanour
8. You will need to work from the St Albans office 1 day a week
