The role:
As a Product Developer, you'll work closely with the design, technical and product departments alongside production and the Agent Provocateur supply base to produce products from concept to order placement ensuring that developments meet brand integrity.
Key responsibilities:
Product Development
* Ensure all business tools are updated with correct information to ensure smooth development across multi categories and handover to production.
* Responsible for both development and production BOM’s to order placement.
* Collating samples and style information for meetings - including seasonal sample reviews and sign off alongside wholesale/franchise requirements.
* To work closely with our global supply base in daily communications.
* Weekly meetings in all areas of design and fit development.
* Responsible for ensuring suitable packaging is developed alongside the product
* Support the design and fabric team with ad hoc admin duties.
Critical Path
* Ensure CP timelines are followed, and key dates are achieved.
* Support suppliers in managing key dates and alerting the relevant team of any issues.
* Development sample trackers kept up to date with all the relevant information.
* Chasing in all required samples across product categories according to deadlines.
Costing
* Support the Product Manager to ensure accurate pricing at each sample stage.
* Ensure BOM management with fabric, design or price changes to the suppliers for costing. · Chase in and log the optimum widths for size curve requirements.
* Assist with cross costing packs.
General
* Work closely with our design and communications teams to request and hand over required samples for campaigns.
* Maintain a high level of communication with technical and production teams.
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 · Adobe CC an advantage
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in Product Development and Critical Path management
* High level of communication both internally and externally
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC is a plus)
* Ability to handle administrative duties for design, fabric teams, and other departments as needed.
* Great teamwork, working closely with various departments (design, production, communications) to ensure seamless product development
