Business Development Executive
Location: Horsforth, Leeds
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (basic) per annum, depending on experience

The Role
They are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to drive sales and expand their corporate reach. This is an exciting opportunity for a team player with a passion for sport, a hunger for sales, and wanting to work in a small, dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Based at their offices in Horsforth, Leeds, their ideal candidate will come to the role already owning a book of contacts which are warm and ready to work. You will be introduced to their portfolio of products and services and will work with their company directors to deliver a sales strategy to execute their ambitious growth plan. You will be able to identify and engage with their target clientele, both individuals and businesses, whilst developing their existing network of contacts who can benefit from their portfolio.
They are looking for a passionate, energetic, and charismatic Business Development Executive. Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivering and exceeding sales targets across all their events products
2. Creating sales brochures and sponsorship decks for clients
3. Building strong client relationships with both existing and potential customers
4. Tracking sales progress and keeping their CRM system up to date
5. Following up leads and enquiries and developing an efficient sales workflow so opportunities are not missed
6. Identifying and generating new leads to expand their client base
7. Pitching to high-net-worth clients and confidently able to negotiate and close the sale
8. Meeting client goals and expectations
9. Provide weekly and regular updates at team meetings. Showcase activity, business closed, and prospect lists
10. Ensure strong after-sales relationship management where necessary to increase client retention and identify cross-sales/upselling potential opportunities
11. Support the Sales Directors, Leadership Team, and other employees from time to time on various projects
Skills and Qualifications
Essential requirements:
1. Outstanding sales communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
2. A strategic and consultative sales capability, fused with a high work ethic to achieve quantity and quality of sales
3. Professional and presentable
4. Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours to fulfil requirements of event delivery
Desirable requirements:
1. A basic understanding of golf and other sporting disciplines
2. Confident with all Microsoft Office packages
3. Experience of working in a B2B and B2C environment
