Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Financial Planning & Analysis manager to lead the Company's financial planning & analysis and forecast management. As our Senior Financial Planning and analysis manager, you will be responsible for the Company's financial planning and analysis, ensuring all stakeholders receive meaningful, accurate, and timely information, including board—and executive-level reporting. The successful candidate will have a broad skill set, including financial modeling, problem-solving, presentational skills, and a degree of commercial acumen. You'll be responsible for modelling the Company's long-term plan and routine/ad-hoc forecasts across the Company, with assumptions signed off by the VP of Finance and Executive team. We are looking for a passionate, collaborative individual who takes the initiative, has a sharp eye for detail, and can assess and ideate improvements to existing processes quickly. You will also ideally have experience within the hardware, software, consumer goods, start-up, and DTC sectors. What you'll do: Partnering with the business to deliver timely and insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making and financial impact of decisions and scenarios, working closely with the VP of Finance Supporting the VP of Finance on the management of the Company's long-term financial plan, including the financial modeling and reporting to investors on a routine and ad hoc basis Collaborating with the VP of Finance and leadership team to ensure accurate forecasting Helping the VP of Finance with all ongoing reporting requirements Supporting in providing analysis and reporting for investment proposals and any due diligence concerning fundraising Work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and accounting team to understand and do monthly reporting with variance analysis commentary Reviewing ways to improve financial processes to achieve optimal efficiency What you'll need: Degree qualification or equivalent experience A Professional Accounting qualification, preferably ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent Strong Analytical, financial planning, and budget management skills Advanced Excel and presentational skills Commercially focused and willing to challenge information and not take at face value Flexible, innovative, and adaptable at work to meet competing priorities in a fast-moving environment An independent thinker, inquisitive mind, and demonstrable examples of implementing proactive solutions Superb and demonstrable time-management skills and the ability to work independently Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels A passion for music, technology, and/or startups Bonus points: Experience working at a start-up or high-growth Company. Ideally within consumer goods, Hardware, and Software businesses.
