My client is an established, reputable, customer-centric Financial Services business, specialising in the provision of finance to businesses across the UK. The award-winning business has been around for over 30 years with a great team and a inclusive and supportive culture.
They are now looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join their team based in Wakefield. You will be responsible for processing all new business proposals within agreed time-scales, effectively communicating with both internal and external customers whilst completing transactions with a high degree of accuracy. This is a fast paced role in what can be a pressurised environment with deadlines so requires good verbal and written communication, numeracy and organisation skills. Full training will be provided but we are looking for someone with either direct relevant skills or transferable skills. This role is mostly office based with one day working from home per week.
Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator include;
* Supporting the Sales team by processing new business proposals received from suppliers or direct customers and communicating with suppliers and customers where necessary.
* Obtaining the required information from the proposal source to support the deal and when required request additional supporting information.
* Complete and check all documentation to be sent to the customer and check them upon return.
* Generate and process all documentation in a timely manner.

* Must be self motivated and be able to work on own initiative.
* Have good communication skills, both written and verbal and have excellent telephone manner.
* Good numeracy skills and be confident working with numbers.
* Be hard working, proactive and enthusiastic.
* Good time management skills and able to prioritise workloads to ensure targets are met.
* High attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Requirements of the Sales Administrator:
* Experience within a sales administrator or sales support role ideally within a B2B environment
* Good attention to detail.
* Organised and methodical.
As a result, you will be rewarded with a fantastic salary of up to £29,000 + bonus and will be working with a great supportive, experienced team.
