We are looking for a Site Manager to join our expanding team who has a wealth of experience within the housing sector. You will have a background in leading large teams of various trades and knowledge of managing complex projects. The successful candidate will report to our Contracts Manager and be responsible for the full end-to-end delivery of their project programme. Roles and Responsibilities: Effectively plan your project and ensure it is programmed to the level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the project within timescale. Apply and coordinate risk mitigation strategies throughout the lifecycle of the project where necessary. Attend site prestart meetings to ensure you are fully equipped with all relevant information to ensure a successful site delivery. Deliver all aspects of the project in strict accordance with the relevant technical and planning documentation provided and any subsequent instructions that may be necessary from time to time. Continuously manage the ongoing progress of the site and report this on a weekly basis to the Contracts Manager reflecting all changes on your projects programme. Collaborate effectively with your site Quantity Surveyor, monitoring site costs ensuring they are in line with budgeted project costs. By example, set the highest possible standards of leadership in promotion of HSE procedures and best practice, ensuring compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations. Ensure you maintain accurate and up to date records for all documentation in line with Company standards. Communicate clearly and effectively onsite with your colleagues to ensure they receive clear and concise direction and feedback. Lead weekly site meetings ensuring all parties present understand site progress, client and resident satisfaction and up and coming activities. You must ensure everyone has clear action plans in place for all deviations to programme. Ensure all workmanship is in line with our quality as standard guarantee, where this is not the case you must proactively put in place actions to resolve. Report Inspections at various stages of the projects. Ensure you plan in advance your resource requirements in line with the requirements of your site programme. Implement the risk management process, review risk register and check risk controls. Facilitate and attend internal and Client meetings and ensure the production of accurate records of any discussions and actions. Manage sub-contractor relationships when onsite ensuring quality assurance is achieved and biweekly meetings are conducted with the Contracts Manager.
