Electrical/Mechanical Engineer
Role and responsibilities
Design electrical systems and produce wiring diagrams.
PLC programming - writing PLC software.
Design mechanical parts and produce drawings/models.
Fault finding and problem solving.
Installing and commissioning equipment at customer sites.
Providing customer training and support.Skills and experience
Electronics experience to be able to design electrical systems and produce wiring diagrams. (3ph, single-phase, analogue and digital systems)
Ability to write PLC software. (Siemens/Panasonic desirable)
CAD experience (Autocad or Solidworks preferable but not essential)
Fault finding and problem solving skills and experience.
Willingness to travel overseas as required (approx. 2-6 times per year/duration of 2-14 days per trip) for installations and fault finding at customer site.
Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems desirable.
Experience using core Microsoft 365 applications.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
