Salary: £30k-£40k+ to start, depending on experience
Location: Swansea
Duration: Long Term Contract / Permanent
Our client, a reputable Swansea based Engineering Design Consultancy are expanding and looking to recruit a Multi Discipline CAD Designer. The ideal candidate will have a background in Oil & Gas, Water Treatment & Sewage, Heavy Steel Industry, Manufacturing or Process Industry. The role offers the opportunity to be part of a busy team in a modern design office, working on innovative, varied, and bespoke projects.
The Role
3D Modelling/Design & Detailing of Process Pipework, Pressure Vessels, Pipe Supports, Storage Tanks, Small Structures, Access Platforms, Structural Bridges & Trestles, Bespoke Structural Assemblies etc.
Undertaking Site Visits, 3D Site Scans & Dimensional Surveys.
Client Liaison & Working as part of a disciplined team
HSE Awareness.
Essential Requirements
* Qualified to HNC / HND or Equiv. minimum.
* 3D AutoCAD (Apply online only), AutoCAD Plant 3D/Revit and CADWorx Plant 3D.
* Proven experience in Oil & Gas, Water Treatment & Sewage, Heavy Steel Industry, Manufacturing or Process Industry.
* Production of 3D Models, 2D General Arrangements & Detailed Manufacturing/Fabrication Drawings
* MS Office Applications
Only candidates with the above essential experience will be considered for this role.
The following knowledge whilst not essential would also be beneficial
* AutoCAD Advanced Steel experience.
* 3D Faro Scanning experience.
