Internal Quality Assurer in Health and Social Care\n £30,900 to £36,000\n Cardiff, CF11 8TT (Hybrid, working 2-3 days in the office).\n Monday to Friday 09:00am to 16:30pm \n Full-time, permanent\n\nAbout the Role\n We are looking for an experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to lead, motivate, and develop a team of Assessors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training across all learning programs. The primary goal is to ensure that learners receive top-quality education and assessment in the Health and Social Care sector, particularly through apprenticeship programs focused on Children and Young People.\n This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional who thrives in a leadership role and is dedicated to improving the standards of teaching and learning.\n\nYour Impact\n As the Internal Quality Assurer, you will:\n\nLead and develop a team of Assessors, ensuring a positive learning experience for all learners and the achievement of KPIs.\nEnhance the quality of delivery across all learning programs, focusing on continuous improvement.\nManage sampling and verification activities to support the progression and success of learners.\nEnsure all IQA activities meet the needs of learners and exceed the requirements of Awarding Organisations, Welsh Government, Estyn, and other relevant bodies.\nOversee regular standardisation meetings for Assessors to share best practices and maintain high standards.\nEnsure literacy, numeracy, and cross-cutting themes such as Safeguarding, Prevent, Welsh Language, Equality & Diversity, and Health & Safety are integrated throughout the learning program.\nPrepare comprehensive and clear IQA reports to support the ongoing development of the team.\nManage EQA visits, ensuring all portfolios meet required standards for a positive outcome.\nConduct IQA observations of Assessors to ensure the effective implementation of the IQA strategy.What Are We Looking For?\n Essential:\n\nAssessor and IQA qualifications.\nRelevant occupational competence in the sector.\nProven experience in delivering training and support to learners.\nFull driving licence with access to your own vehicle.\nWillingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered) and EWC registration.Desirable:\n\nExperience leading a team of IQAs and managing their development.\nExperience coordinating EQA visits.\nInvolvement in Estyn Inspections.What's in It for You?\n We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:\n\n30 days of annual leave (increasing with service).\nHealth care scheme.\nRetail and gym membership discounts.\nProfit-sharing scheme.\nLife insurance.\nEmployee of the month awards.\nLength of service recognition and more.Apply today or alternatively, call Hannah at Brook Street Social Care Cardiff on (phone number removed)
