Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial analysis. Support the annual budgeting process. Conduct monthly reviews of department performance against budgets, investigating key variances. Prepare VAT and PAYE returns, including reconciliations, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines. Assist with daily cash management, including currency transactions. Manage the invoice financing process. Complete AR and AP sub-ledger month-end processes and reconcile with the General Ledger. Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time. Develop and monitor SOPs, internal controls, and KPIs. Prepare and submit EC Sales and Intrastat returns within required timeframes. Support the preparation of annual audits, resolving queries efficiently. Provide coaching and support to team members. Deliver high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders. Handle claims submissions to relevant authorities. Essential Requirements: Proven ability to problem-solve effectively. Qualified Accounting Technician or part-qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA), or a minimum of three years of relevant experience. Capability to manage workload efficiently while meeting strict deadlines. Strong proficiency in MS Excel. High level of accuracy with the ability to work independently.
