Overall purpose:
You will work across our children’s team at Lily’s Place (Poole), Lawford Lodge (Hamworthy) transition respite unit, and Shapes domiciliary care service within a child’s home (Poole/Christchurch).

This role requires staff to
1. Provide night-time support and monitoring for the children and young people staying overnight.
2. Completing all paperwork and some domestic tasks such as washing, ironing and cleaning jobs.
3. Responsible for assisting children and young people, where necessary, with intimate and personal care.
4. Follow an individual child or young person’s care plan and contribute to their continuing development.
Holding a full UK manual driving licence essential for this role.

Desirable experience
It is a requirement that applicants have, are working towards, or are willing to complete a relevant level three diploma.
You will be expected to demonstrate an understanding and experience of working with people who have complex needs.
You will need to adhere to the highest standards of Child and Adult Protection Procedures.
