Key Responsibilities: Implementing all maintenance tasks as scheduled Installing and repairing systems, apparatus, electrical, and industrial machinery per current electrical regulations, manufacturers guidelines, and technical drawings Performing routine maintenance and scheduled checks, logging, and signing relevant documentation Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns Communicating issues and problems to senior management with relevant timescales for resolution Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures Job Requirements: Approved Electrician certification or Completion of a recognised vocational education program in electrical or industrial electrical or industrial training Understanding of electronic theory as applied to electrical and electronic circuits, wiring, and electrical equipment used in power generation Proficiency with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) units and other computer-based equipment Knowledge of methods, equipment, and materials used in the electrical trade Understanding of current legislation and 18th edition wiring regulations Ability to install, program, and troubleshoot PLC based equipment Qualifications & Certifications: Completion of a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship Experience as an electrician in industrial maintenance Marine experience is advantageousThis role is a FTC until December 2025 Rate - £17.07/h plus OT paid after 37 hours at x1.4 Standard Hours - Monday to Thursday (Apply online only) If you are a qualified Electrician looking for a contract role in the marine industry, we would love to hear from you
