Our client, based in Southampton, specialising in delivering IT Technology solutions for payments in the retail sector, is recruiting for a 1st line Technical Support Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent demonstrable communication and problem-solving skills and be customer service orientated.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
1. NVQ1/GCSEs and above (or equivalent) in key competencies
2. Problem analysis/problem solving
3. Attention to detail
4. Working in a very pressurised environment
5. Understanding of SLAs and KPIs
6. Quick learner; ability to identify and document defects
7. Ability to carry out test planning and procedures
8. Experience working on Scrum teams in sprints
9. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide audience of technical, non-technical and stakeholders, on all levels
10. Understanding of how to construct and document test cases
11. Knowledge of automated test scripts and interpreting results
12. Clear and concise documentation skills
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE (not essential):
1. Windows Operating System ranging from 2000 – Windows 7
2. Borland & SQL
3. Visual Basics and C#
