As a Conveyancing Legal Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting the efficient functioning of our Conveyancing Team. This role is perfect for a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced legal setting.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Providing full support to our Solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently.
2. Preparing correspondence using our case management system.
3. Attending to clients both on the telephone and in person.
4. Administering filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
5. Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch.
6. Diary Management.
7. Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork.
8. Audio typing from dictation.
9. Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as required.
10. Dealing with routine client correspondence and queries.
You Will:
1. Have excellent knowledge and experience within residential conveyancing.
2. Demonstrate initiative and be able to undertake searches & ID checks.
3. Possess high levels of speed and accuracy.
4. Have excellent audio typing from dictation skills.
5. Have a good telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with clients both on the telephone and in person.
6. Be highly organised, methodical, and adaptable.
