Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business and Finance Manager to provide strategic leadership and management for finance, human resources, premises, health and safety, and ICT. The successful candidate will ensure that resources are deployed effectively to achieve our educational aims and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Optimise resource use through effective planning and sustainable proposals.
· Develop strategies in response to government policies and long-term educational trends.
· Manage finance, HR, premises, and ICT teams cohesively.
· Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and statutes.
· Advise at Finance and Governors meetings.
· Plan and manage change according to the academy development plan.
· Undertake annual budget planning, allocate funds, and monitor monthly.
· Advise on resource management and prepare reports.
· Oversee accounting, cash handling, and payroll processes.
· Maximise income generation and manage procurement.
· Ensure financial control and compliance.
· Lead Academy and Workforce Census processes.
Qualifications:
· Relevant degree or professional qualification in finance or business management.
· Proven experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
· Strong leadership and organisational skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
