Job Summary
TÜV Rheinland Europe is seeking a seasoned Quality and Safety Professional to join our team in the UK. As a QHSE Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and developing our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all QHSE activities across TÜV Rheinland Solution Groups and support services.
* Engage with external bodies, including customers, Certification Bodies, and regulatory authorities.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide essential leadership and expert advice to management and staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key duties include:
* Compliance and Standards: Interpret legislative requirements and develop appropriate QHSE standards and procedures.
* Certification Maintenance: Ensure compliance and retention of ISO certifications.
* Audit Coordination: Lead and coordinate audits conducted by external bodies.
* Expert Advice: Provide comprehensive QHSE advice and support to management and staff.
* Training Development: Identify QHSE training needs and develop training programs.
* KPI Reporting: Monitor QHSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Internal Audits: Execute an internal QHSE audit program.
* Procedure Management: Implement a suite of QHSE controlled procedures.
* Incident Management: Lead and coordinate investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
* Risk Assessment: Provide risk assessment support and approval.
* Culture Promotion: Foster a culture of safety and quality within the organization.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in a QHSE role within the industry, along with NEBOSH certification and ISO Audit experience.
