Your Job
The primary function of the Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is to drive the field-sales growth of Guardian's wide array of products and services within a specific, pre-designated territory. The TSM proactively engages with current, new and potential customers to increase our industry footprint by leveraging his/her product knowledge to increase sales and profitable growth.
What You Will Do
1. Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with new and existing customers to establish strong relationships.
2. Strategy Development: Actively develop future strategies to enhance customer relationships and drive growth.
3. Product Representation: Utilize in-depth product knowledge and industry awareness to represent Guardian's offerings effectively.
4. Territory Development: Connect with strategic contacts, stakeholders, and identify new opportunities for profitable growth.
5. Collaboration: Work with Regional Sales Managers, other TSMs, and the Architectural Sales Manager to execute market penetration strategies.
6. Price Negotiations: Handle price negotiations while considering long-term value creation.
7. Communication: Keep customers informed about product updates and pricing.
8. Sales Presentations: Deliver professional and effective sales and educational presentations.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
1. Experience: Proven experience in similar sales cycles or specification business.
2. Value-Based Selling: Understand the importance of selling based on value rather than price.
3. Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and within a sales team.
4. Travel: Regular travel (approximately 50-60%) with frequent overnight stays.
5. Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
