This is an exciting new role within the finance department suitable for an individual looking to grow within the business. Providing accounting support for the Accounts Team. Assisting in the daily, weekly and monthly financial postings for management reporting. This will entail understanding and using our accounts package, and having an understanding of profit & loss accounts and balance sheet reporting. Key Result Areas, Tasks and Main Duties: Maintain all bank & accounts transactions & reconciliation Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct Maintain the Cash books Maintaining of Daily Cashflow & Cashflow forecast Raise any ad-hoc Sales ledger invoices (Rental, Advertising etc) Provide cover for Purchase Ledger & Credit Controller Expense analysis Assist in the production of Management Accounts Weekly Debtors & Creditors Analysis Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately Any other duties as required by Management Accountants or the Finance Director The Candidate - Skills & Experience required: Experience as an Assistant Accountant essential Effective communicator at all levels, able to deal with non-finance staff. Advance working knowledge of MS Excel is essential. Proactive and practical attitude to continuous improvement of function and systems. High level of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to multi-task and ability to work well under pressure.
