As the Lead PMO, your primary mission is to ensure the successful delivery of the NewCo program by implementing effective project management practices that align with our strategic objectives. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team, enabling us to navigate the complexities of transformation with confidence and agility.
In this role, you will be accountable for overseeing the governance of the NewCo program, ensuring that all activities adhere to the principles of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will facilitate seamless communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals. Additionally, you will monitor project performance closely, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive mitigation strategies to keep the program on track .
Your responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of comprehensive project plans that outline timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. You will lead regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring transparency in project progress. Furthermore, you will champion the implementation of best practices in project management, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation throughout the organization.

Knowledge & abilities
A comprehensive and in-depth understanding of various project management methodologies, with a particular emphasis on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This includes familiarity with agile principles and practices that promote flexibility and responsiveness in project delivery.
A solid grasp of transformation programs and change management principles, enabling you to navigate the complexities associated with large-scale organizational changes effectively.
Extensive knowledge of risk management processes, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of potential risks that could impact project success.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities that empower you to assess complex situations critically and make informed, strategic decisions that drive project success.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, fostering a culture of open dialogue and transparency.
A strong ability to lead and motivate teams, inspiring them to achieve high performance while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Education and Certification
Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Technology; Master's degree preferred
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent credential is highly desirable, reflecting your commitment to excellence in project management practices
Certification as a SAFe Agilist or SAFe Program Consultant is a valuable asset, demonstrating your expertise in agile methodologies and frameworks
Experience
A proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment, demonstrating your ability to deliver results in complex and dynamic settings.
Significant experience in implementing and managing projects using the SAFe framework, showcasing your capability to lead agile transformations effectively.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in international / global project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a PMO, showcasing your ability to guide teams and drive project success.
