An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced and passionate midwives to join the established team of Triage Midwives at Mid Cheshire Hospitals Foundation Trust.
The applicants should have experience in Maternity Triage and knowledge of the BSOTS framework would be desirable but training will be provided. You would be responsible for the provision of high quality, effective triage of women under the care maternity services midwifery.

The postholder will work within the maternity triage department and will provide telephone assessment, initial assessment and ongoing care for women attending with emergencies and unexpected complications during pregnancy and postnatal period. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary clinical team and work within the BSOTS framework for Maternity Triage.

The post holder will carry out a range of clinical skills in midwifery practice within the team, whilst working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to give individualised, holistic care to meet the needs of women and their families. The midwife will have decision-making autonomy within guidelines and professional codes of practice, and will participate in the leadership, education, development and supervision of the clinical team.
