First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Account Manager on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Achieve growth in all areas and ensure sales targets are monitored to ensure targets will be achieved
2. Manage a customer portfolio of key accounts and specialist projects, to build strong and lasting relationships
3. Develop relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers to ensure knowledge and understanding of the latest industry products and innovations
4. Work with the senior management to ensure leads are generated where appropriate
5. Manage all customer activity via the CRM system to ensure all relevant data and information is captured as well as maintain a pipeline of opportunities
6. Enter all customer visits and calls in the CRM
7. Participate in networking at industry events and exhibitions to benefit the business
8. Ensure customer complaints are dealt with and addressed in a timely and professional manner and closed out correctly with all necessary departments and managers
Skills and Qualifications:
9. Experience and in-depth knowledge and understanding of working in sales
10. Strong verbal and written communication skills
11. Good time management and planning skills
12. Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
13. Strong presentation skills
14. IT skills
15. Team player
16. Experience working in the construction, distribution or hire industry
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 Per Annum
